Our recent visit to the seminary was an absolutely amazing experience. I saw the beautiful architecture and was amazed at the craftsmanship of the stone statues. I enjoyed seeing all of Milwaukee through the dome at the peak of the seiminary. Although, this does not affect my career choice it has made me more appreciative of the priesthood. The trip opened my eyes to how priests really live. It showed me priests live just like regualr peopleplaying videogames and playing pranks on eachother. I hope that you will be able to take kids on this trip for many years to come.
Me-I believe the Eucharist is very important because it is the base of our religion and it helps us cleanse ourselves of sin through the body and blood of Jesus who gave his body up for us to forgive our of sins.
Sydney, age 11 (Sister) – I feel like every time I receive the Eucharist I am forgiven by God and I’m cleansed of sin.
Grandma - The Eucharist is when you receive the body and blood of Christ, and when I receive it I feel like God has given me a second chance or forgiven me of all my past wrong doings.
Zack age 14 (Neighbor) - It is the body of Christ; it is very important to me because receiving the body of Christ brings me closer to God and Jesus and makes me a better person.
